National Archery Day at Cowtown
Bowmen was set up to show our appreciation to all of the shooters
that have supported us during the year and to celebrate the great
sport of archery. One of the main purposes of this event is to offer
information about our sport and hopefully encourage others to
participate in the future. This event is for anyone that has an
interest in archery and would like to learn more about the sport.
You will be able to see target face shooting as well as shooting at
life-size 3-D animals. I am sure there will be all types of archery
equipment on site and a lot of Cowtown Bowmen members to answer your
questions. Archery is a family sport and we personally invite you
and your family to come join us in this celebration. We look forward
to seeing all you in September. Remember Admission is

General Format:
|
|
Our gates will open at 8:00am. and there will be activities all day
until about 4:00pm. There will be a
California Start (which is get a group and go) 20 target
3-D Shoot from 9:00am. till
noon. Guest are welcome to watch the shooters and cameras are
encouraged. Shooters and guests will vote on the best
target setups and a prize will be awarded to the Range Captain or
Club Member with
the most unique or interesting target setup. We will have a used
3-D Target Sale which will be
open all day or as long as targets are available. Our
Novelty Shoot will also be open
all day with prizes to the winners. There should also be several archery
related Seminars starting at
different times during the day. Archery related vendors are invited
to set up displays. Cowtown Bowmen will have club membership information
and applications available.
Score cards from the 3-D shoot will need to be turned in no later
than 3:00 pm. and all of the (purchased) score cards will be drawn for
Door Prizes around 3:30 pm. Fun will be available all
day! |

am. (The Practice Range will also open at 8:30 am.) |

3-D Shoot Format :
Twenty Mackenzie Targets. Shoot
what you bring.
(Field points only -No Broadheads)
The 3-D Shoot is just for fun, but your
(purchased) score card will
be your ticket for all the Door Prizes that will be given away
starting around 3:30 pm.. |

3-D Shoot Times :
Calif. Start 9:00 am. till 12:00 noon.
(Score Cards in by 3:00 pm.) |

3-D Shoot Fees :
Adult & Youth - $15.00
12 yrs & Under - Free |
|
|
|

love to have you! That's what National Archery Day is all about.

Food, and Fun! Concessions will
be available at the Range. There will be plenty of cold water on the
3-D course. |

Vendors:
If you are an Archery related vendor and would like to set up a
table or display we would love to have you. There are no charges to
set up a space. You will need to furnish your own tables. Please
contact us in advance if you would like have a space at our National
Archery Day Celebration. |
